I have been to Rod's twice and had great experiences both times. The employees are friendly and kind, and give clear explanations of their work. I appreciate the fact that I wasn't pressured to buy anything extra when I got my oil changed and they gave me a great diagnostic sheet that lets me know how my car is doing and what might need to be replaced in the near future. Their lobby is comfortable and cozy which is really nice when you have to wait for work to be done, and they also gave me a loaner vehicle when I had my car worked on the first time. I also love that they donate a percentage from their oil change profits to a local charity of your choice. How cool is that? I don't know much about cars and am a little intimated to say the least about taking care of my car and dealing with car troubles but they put my mind at ease and don't use scare tactics to try to get an extra buck.
