Gave one of the most extensive pre-purchase inspections I've ever witnessed, including pictures with each part they inspected. The inspection covered many more components of the car that are not standard in a pre purcahse inspection, and paying the premium to have such an extensive inspection ended up saving me thousands of dollars.i highly recommend bringing cars here for inspection before purchase.

I'd give these people 10 stars if I could. They are simply the best. Top quality work, reasonably priced, super friendly, helpful, and everything you could want out of a car shop. They have been working on my Subaru cars for years. And in the rare instance where they got a defective part or something wasn't done to my 100% satisfaction, they went out of their way to make it right. One time Rod even drove up to Squamish, BC to tow my car down to Bellingham for a repair after I my car broke down on a ski trip. I see a few one-star reviews here and all I can say is that if there is anything about your service that is not to your satisfaction, talk to Logan or Brittany and they will help you resolve it.

Highly recommend Rod. Logan and his expert service technicians at Rod's Japanese Auto Care gave me exemplary diagnostic analysis, maintenance, and repair service this week for my Nissan Maxima. They took my car in without an appointment and had me on the road again in a day! Their prices were excellent and my car purrs like new again. They explained in detail all of their recommendations and communicated with me throughout the process via phone and email. They even washed my car before I drove it home and had a locally produced basket of goodies for me in the driver's seat. Rod's is definitely a first class auto care option in Bellingham. I highly recommend Rod's for their quality service combined with fair pricing that is all wrapped in a big smile from Logan and his professional staff. BRAVO and two thumbs up!!

Great Service? More like First Rate Service. These guys really hooked it up. Apparently my car has been severely neglected... whoops! Haha, anyway. The staff is super knowledgeable and nice. Their inspections come with a super cool pdf with pictures and descriptions so you can see your car up close and intimately. They even highlighted the rodent droppings that some nefarious ne’er-do-well rats left while escaping the cold on my warm engine! Very high efficiency report! If that hasn’t swayed you, they have this adorable chubby cat with the stumpiest tail who like belly rubs. Excuse me while I weep at the cuteness. All in all if I could rate this 100 stars I would, but that’s not a sensible rating system unfortunately. So I’ll settle for 5 and say come see Logan Kelsch, tell him Shaun “The Bomb” Murray sent ya!

Incredibly grateful for the work of the amazing people at Rod's. Quality Care. Rod's customer service and technical skills are STAR quality. I was stranded 90 miles from home (Seattle) in a new area. They responded to my "please help" email I sent after their shop was closed and received a response at 10:00 that evening! Who does that anymore?? They had the parts in the shop next morning, repaired my car, gave me a ride to and from my lodging. When I picked up my car, there sat, on the passenger seat, a beautiful basket of local goodies and a thank you note from the staff at Rod's. They are no-nonsense in repairing cars efficiently and their customer relations top it all. An amazing team. I may have to travel 90 miles for my next repair.
